About our guest, Ryan Walker:
Ryan Walker is the President of Walker Manufacturing Company, a family-owned business that has become a household name in the lawn and landscaping world. From their roots in Fowler, KS to their current factory in Ft. Collins, CO, they’ve continued to grow and maintain their passion for the industry. Their success in the green industry, in our eyes, has stemmed from their love of people and desire to uplift their customers.
Ryan has continued the legacy left behind by his grandfather, Max Walker, along with his father, uncle, and brother. Together they have proven to be a well-rounded and family-oriented leadership team for the business. Ryan became President after 10 years of working in sales, marketing, and business development for Walker Manufacturing. However, he has really been learning about the family business since he was a child, growing up only 100 yards from the Walker factory along with his 3 brothers.
Going Green with Steven Werner, Lawn Buddy’s newest initiative:
Lawn Buddy’s (and especially Steven’s) love of connecting with those in the industry, listening to their experiences, and learning from them inspired our Going Green interviews. These interviews are centered around green industry success stories and are our way of spreading knowledge with you all.
